Hey i was wondering why worlds casters are saying only abbreviation instead of full name?

Why do they say anything? They worship NA teams at worlds dreaming about "flawless" victories and bashing all other teams for everything to end with 'surprised pikachu' face when NA loses yet AGAIN.
They are from another world...
There's a thread on this from a couple hours ago that sheds light on this topic. In short it's associated to some ongoing protests in Hong Kong which seeped its way into esports (notably Hearthstone). Given its volatile political impact, it's understandable. I've begun to accept it as a Freudian slip as even their own players identify it as HKA.
