Constant flame and spam in chat every time C9 is playing probably adds to the pressure that they must be feeling already. I feel bad for the guys.
Moderators don't do anything to calm down the flame and spam in chat the entire game, makes me want to just switch it off.
When you're subbed in and you give up first blood and a double kill less than a minute and a half in, well some of that flack is deserved is it not?
Well I am a C9 fan and what I'm saying is let them prove themselves. If after a few weeks it's clear that they don't perform better then with Jensen/Sneaky/Smoothie, then what's the point of switching then?
That said, one of the reason I really liked C9 was the bot lane duo/synergy. With Sneaky gone now especially, the ADC that shaped the team identity for so long, is benched, they feel like a completely new team now. I can understand some of the community backlash because it is a pretty major change.
Just think if TSM did the same, we would see exactly the same kind of comments.
If TSM benched Bjergsen, how would fans react?
I think a lot of people just don't understand this change and are confused why relatively solidly performing players are benched while mediocre players that mess up more often than not (I know he's a Rookie, but comeon Licorice) are still playing. It makes no sense. I know C9 Academy was doing well, but that's Academy, not full LCS.
