Got Ryze?
Once again Ryze is proving to be the factor in every game. Correct me if i'm wrong but I think so far in the quarter finals he as a 100% win rate. How do you stop this champion?

Heavily camp his lane.. I mean pitch a tent, light a fire, bake some beans and have a good time there for 20 mins...
Tanks. I may be low elo, but I have not met a ryze yet who can win vs my Mundo. Not that mundo specifically beats ryze, I expect you just need to shrug some damage and go aggro. He isnt very durable, so plow through the combo, force him to use lots of mana constantly, and you can bully him away from lane.
That said, in professional games, it is a different story....more coordination detracts from the power of aggressive play, making that strategy dangerous. In that case, get someone who can out range him in that lane. Probably send some tank mid (galio, ali, morde) and send a mage top.
Ryze his a ranged fighter (thats how I think of him.) He can get fairly tanky, but there are no mr+ap items....so do not go ad against him.
I like to build Kayle as a tank shredder (Wit's end, Black Cleaver, her own passive) she also makes great use of Malmortius, which is a prime weapon against Ryze.
