As the grueling battle finally reaches it's conclusion, Poppy leaves the Rift, looking on to her team-mates, waving her one final goodbye. A faint smile cracks through Poppy's lips, as she looks at her body, riddled with the wounds and scars from years of fighting. Poppy's face saddens as she thinks: "Damn, i still got it, even after all this time...hope i made you proud dad". As she looks up, the sky beings to darken, clouds converging on top of her. Poppy looks up. "And here he comes", she thought. A figure of power and chaos emerges, shooting lighting everywhere. Poppy knew this day would come, she had tried to avoid it, but the call of battle was simply greater, than the fear of this day. : "Morello" Morello : "I warned you Poppy, that if you ever set foot on a competitive League i would return to finish you off" : "And i warned you that if you didn't finish the job last time, i would return...i was made for battle, and your nerfs won't change that...look at me! I'm old, weakened from years of nerfs, bugs and an out-dated kit. But somehow i'm still stronger than most of your pets" Morello: "Oww don't worry...after years of being insulted by your mere existence, this time I.WILL.FINISH.YOU.OFF" Morello reaches back, displaying his most lethal weapon: the nerf-hammer. As Poppy looks on a strange sense of calm washes over her. As she watches Morello rear his hammer, she drops her own hammer, smiles with a wicked smile, puts up both middle fingers and shouts with all her heart, while Morello's hammer descends apon her one last time: "FUCK YOU MORELLO!!!"

Two years of competitive league, but Unicorns of Love feel like they're the first team I can genuinely call my favourite

because no other team would have the guts to pull a picky as gutsy as Poppy, when down 2-0 in what could be one of the most important games of their lives.

I loved this game, and the poppy pick was brilliant in this situation, but people should not mistake that for poppy being strong in an overall sense. Poppy has far more bad lane matchups than good, and even then can be denied the farm she needs by jungle pressure. She works as a dedicated counter pick. Now if you can survive the lane with semi decent farm, poppy becomes an absolute monster who can dive the enemy team on a whim an delete people while taking no damage.

For long term game health though, poppy will need a rework. Her kit has a TON of scalings, deceptive damage sources/types, and very little conterplay when her ult is active. The only way to beat her is deny her gold. Failing that, you are probably screwed.

excuse me sir, correct me if im wrong, but poppy is a FINE champion. She isnt played because people dont want to play her, not because she's a bad champ. As a new poppy main, i find this extremely offensive.

Any champion can win, but it doesn't seem fair for Riot to nerf her :(
