eSports statistics

I was wondering what type of statistics are given to the castors and analysts before, during and after games? I have always felt like the availability of statistics is underwhelming and as a stats junky, I get really disappointed. Does Riot have people collecting a variety of stats that aren't provided to the fans and just the castors and analysts to help with talking points, or is this just something that isn't high on Riot's eSports concerns at the moment in time?

For example, I always see the CS/10 stat given, but in my opinion it is quite a weak stat since it doesn't take into consideration role swaps and targons or anything of that manner. For example, if a team lane swaps every game then the top laners CS/10 will be lower than average whereas the ADC's will be higher. Does Riot collect these types of stats and make an attempt to standardize for them to make different conclusions or is it just the simple stats that are currently being collected by Riot?

Any insight a Rioter could provide would be really appreciated. I am huge fan of the eSports scene and well at stats so this is something I have always wondered.
