Not surprised by outcome. NA fans cling to head-to-head victories, but facts are EUs top teams have been notable in major tournaments, while always underdogs to Korea and China, not total pushovers.
Pretty sure msi answered this question when eu's best teams got rekt by a bottom na team facing relegation.
This article isn't good at judging the current strength of the regions. EU did have pretty good performances in Worlds season 1 and 2 but more recent performances in NA vs EU match ups have been pretty poor. In season 6 worlds EU has not gotten a single win off an NA team that year.
Come one guys, half of the NA teams are filled with originally EU and KR players (:
