High elo player wondering how to join an lcs

I'm a D1-Challenger adc main wondering how to work towards the lcs scene without creating a challenger team, I'd rather join or take an alternate route. Any tips?

What I mean is you can just show off your personality and start a Youtube channel or twitch or some shitt. If you're a high elo player people will view your content and videos because of the high rank.

League is a very toxic game so being toxic attracts people like a moth to a flame for example Tyler 1. As people think being toxic is cool as you're talking shitt and your not going to take anyone's s$it so it's aggressive and not backing down attitude that attracts people. The whole " I'm a hard worker that plays Legue and whatever Korea does I will follow their meta and waka waka" like no one cares anymore about how well NA does at Worlds it's been like 6 years with the same result.

For NA only as I can't talk much about LCK-LPL-EU etc; so enough fans are going to care less and less about WORLDS as it's been 6 years and NA still sucks so instead of seeing "Hard work and we can win WORLDS watch us please" fans will want players that are entertaining being toxic or troll or 1 tricks like (Tyler 1- QT Pie-AnnBot-Irelliacarriesyou etc etc will soon want to be demanded from Fans.

Make a channel and get a gimmick of some sorts; one that can be related but not copyrighted to something that you can get sued but something that you can use to get a sponsor. Like for example and this is just an EXAMPLE you beat someone and you say " Taste the elo-Bitch" or maybe just "Taste the elo" maybe after gaining a cult following Skittles might sponsor you and you can have your face on like every skittles or something ( I know it's corny but it was just an example) I say that because if League does become popular enough and get enough sponsors I'm pretty sure Burgerking might sponsor Bjergsen as he has been called (Burgersen).

Just my thoughts on the matter.

I agree with almost everything except the trash talk on my god tyler1 #FREETYLER1RITOPLEASE

lol, You serious? The dude does nothing but trash talks from what I'v seen. I don't watch Tyler1 because I just feel like I get enough of that shitt in solo Q and it doesn't interest me personally. Everyone is different so I can't judge if people like that stuff then that's what they like.
Good player tho.

personally I think he is hilarious, especially because he is really really good at Draven but also he is a lot less toxic now so its like he is kind of an asshole and trash talker and that is amusing but also he is really good

"he is a lot less toxic now"

  • He is? Why am I still seeing all these #FreeTyler1 over and over again; does he get banned weekly or something or is it just a "meme" at this point.

He is a meme xD and he is still permabanned from moths ago

He is? I saw the FreeTyler1 meme like 500 times through out this game for like 2 years it seems when I would watch LCS or read youtube videos etc but I didn't know he was permabanned.
I always thought Riot would just ban him on purpose to get fans to comment and create buzz for and from the game itself and just unban him just to do the same thing again and again.

yep he has been perma'd for months

http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/articles/take-your-first-step-path-pro This might help.

Another option would be the fact that when a team needs a new player, they hold tryouts. You could look for something like that.

Also, you could really grind solo queue and try to get number 1, that can get a lot of attention drawn to you.

I am no expert on the subject, just a gold scrub here, but these seem to be the ways rookies break into the scene. Good luck.

go to all events and competitions you can, you get paired up with a team, scouts go to these.

see if you can take part in Schalke04's open-try outs (also broadcast) http://www.espn.com/esports/story/_/id/17868064/league-legends-soccer-club-schalke-04-announces-scouting-day-competition

email and ask teams, ask challenger teams, approach orgs. go hell for leather.

Step 1: Find 5 LCS wannabees Step 2: Buy out an under performing LCS team Step 3: Get relegated in LCS Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 Step 5: ????? Step 6: Be the owner of a major esports brand Step 7: Profit! (I think)
