I posted this video here on my channel to discuss thoughts about mental health and the role of life coaches for the LCS teams.

I want to really open up a discussion that is important to all pro players and everyone in the scene, the importance of someone there for the players to talk to and interact outside of the league. This would be known as a 'life coach' someone who is much older than the player and can discuss with them issues that they have in the team. This individual must have extreme patience and be willing to work with conflicts in the team and between individuals. I would argue this is one of the most important things that teams are missing right now in the west. Another individual would be that sports psychologist as well to work in tandem with the teams. I strongly believe this would increase performance of teams along with the health of the players. Feel free to discuss below ideas for the teams as I have put some out in this video.

In a lot of cases, you won't need a sport psychologist, dietetician, physioterapist and other healthcare employees like that. At least not full time. I'd love however to see Riot hire 1-2 and then loan them to teams.

I believe it would be wise for teams in invest in a sports psychologist in the future when there is sufficient funding.

Right now, there is only enough money for a coach and analyst. Multiple coaches, analysts and health/mental health professionals could be possible for the future if esports become mainstream..
