The 2016 League of Legends World Championship is just around the corner, and we’ve got all the details on the various community events and experiences that will accompany the competition itself in stops across North America.

Group Stage: Sep. 29 - Oct. 2 + Oct. 6-9 in SF

Groups will take place over two weeks at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and for this stop we’re building the community experience right into the venue in the form of elements of the Riftwalk. As seen at PAX East and NA Summer Finals, the Riftwalk is an immersive, interactive journey through League’s history, celebrating both beloved creators and the community that’s made it all possible. Just past the lobby, Groups ticket holders will find iconic exhibits and experiences from the Riftwalk to enjoy before matches begin:

Sept. 29 - Oct. 2 + Oct. 6-7: opens at 1:00 PM, line caps at 3:00 PM.

Oct. 8-9: opens at 10am, line caps at 12:00 PM.

Limited tickets are still available for the Group Stage.

Quarterfinals: Oct. 13-16 in Chicago, IL

While Quarterfinals matches take place in The Chicago Theatre, just down the street at Millennium Park we’re holding Quarterfinals Viewing Parties for the last two days of matches. No ticket needed, but the show is first come, first served, so arrive early! October 15-16 (NOT 13-14), doors open at 4:00 PM, simulcast starts at 5:00 PM, closes when matches end. Keep an eye on the Facebook event for any last minute updates.

Semifinals: Oct. 21-22 in New York, NY

We’re heading to Madison Square Garden for Semifinals, and just across the street inside Penn Plaza Pavilion we’re setting up our cospitality lounge and the Riftwalk. Semifinals ticket holders are welcome to join us before matches for both the Riftwalk and all the cosplay you can handle. October 21-22, doors open at 10:00 AM, line caps at 4:00 PM.

Finals: Oct. 28-29 in Los Angeles, CA

With Finals taking place in Staples Center, we’re also taking over the adjacent LA Live for a series of League community events across two days!

On the eve of Finals, join us for the League Festival at Worlds, an epic celebration of all things League. Front and center, you'll enjoy the Music of League of Legends live concert event, an all-star celebrity ARAM match, a cosplay showcase hosted by /AllChat, and PrimeTime League LIVE! In between, you can venture onto the Riftwalk (complete with 13' Thresh Sky-Puppet), browse the Merch Store, and soak in all of Steve Wang’s famous League statues - Katarina, Ziggs, Tryndamere, Lucian, and Ryze! October 28, doors open at 5:00 PM, show starts at 6:00 PM, closes at 10:00 PM. Purchase tickets here, and keep an eye on on the Facebook event for any last minute updates.

On October 29, we’ll open LA Live early for Finals ticket holders to get their own taste of the festival experience. Show up early and check out the Riftwalk, Steve Wang’s League statues, and more before heading into Staples Center for the match itself. On October 29, doors open at 10:00 AM, closes at 1:30 PM.

Once Finals ticket holders head inside, we’ll open up LA Live for the Finals Viewing Party. Join us just outside the main event for a pre-show and interviews with various esports and community figures, followed by a simulcast viewing of the epic best-of-five series for the Summoner’s Cup. In between games, you can check out a variety of other experiences throughout LA Live, including the Riftwalk, a 13' Thresh sky puppet, and Steve Wang’s famous League statues. October 29, doors open at 2:30 PM, simulcast starts at 4:00 PM, closes at 10:00 PM. Purchase tickets here, and keep an eye on on the Facebook event for any last minute updates.

Make sure to stay tuned to Lolesports for any other Worlds info you may need and stay updated on the Worlds action. We can’t wait to see you at one of our stops across North America as we celebrate League and enjoy this year’s road to the Summoner’s Cup!

Will there not be the riftwalk in Chicago anymore, just the viewing party?

No riftwalk in Chicago? :(

Initially, it was announced that Riftwalk would be in Chicago on 15th and 16th. http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/articles/worlds-2016-quarterfinals-tickets "The Riftwalk will be in Chicago on October 15-16 at Millennium Park, just a short walk from Quarterfinals at Chicago Theatre." We are flying in from North Carolina and extended our travel plans to attend Riftwalk. :(

Also, awesome that you guys added free viewing parties!! However, we couldn't get Saturday/Sunday tickets so are flying back home Saturday night. Would have stayed if we knew about the viewing parties. :( :( (Not really trying to complain - just letting you guys know that people make travel plans early to get hotel rooms and less expensive flights. These late changes mean that we won't get the most out of our experience. And, not having the Riftwalk means less of an experience too - hoping that was just an oversight in the copy.) Thanks!

Ok, I'm a little confused. For those of us who have Worlds Finals tickets, does that mean we get into Riftwalk free on Saturday, or do we still need to buy a ticket? Sounds like a silly question, but I want to be sure so I can plan my trip.

Is there someone that I can contact regarding past Riftwalk events (specifically NA LCS Finals in Toronto)? The personalized video thing was messed up D:

I went through the Rift Walk, was sad that they forgot to send all pics to my email, I only got a few of them...

I'm flying for Finals that morning and I can't check into my hotel until after 1:30pm when the event ends for ticket holders. Can I bring my luggage with me to LA Live that morning?

Hey, Is there some way to get a ticket just for the semi-finals riftwalk or a way to bring a plus one?

Also, is there a time estimate of how long Riftwalk takes to complete?

I bought tickets for the league festival the day this was posted and I paid $20 each ticket, ended up totaling to around $51 for two. Checked back on AXS to see if the tickets sold out yet, turns out they're only $5 each now...? Why did I pay $20 for general admission two days ago if the same ticket is $15 dollars cheaper today??? Can I get a refund if there was a price mistake? :c

Please bring the Riftwalk to PAX West next year.

if I'm going to the semis, do I need a special ticket for the riftwalk? of will my regular semifinal ticket work?

Do you need to schedule a time for riftwalk or anything?

So I just bought a finals ticket today, excited to go on the 29th! In regards to the Riftwalk on Saturday, will the Merch Store still be available? And are there any special gifts/items that we receive as finals ticket holders? I was hoping to be able to purchase one of those fun Championship Riven figurines when I attend Worlds, but I am afraid that if the Merch store is open the day before, and I wait till Saturday to take a look around, they're all going to be sold out. Do I get championship Riven/Zed just for attending worlds? Or should I make sure to purchase these as soon as they are available?
