Attending the Worlds 2015 Finals in Berlin
Worlds 2015 is now over and our month-long European tour has come to an end. We've already guided you around the Paris, London, and Brussels venues, so join us as we round out the Worlds experience with a look at the Mercedes Benz arena in Berlin and the fans who visited us there.
If you look closely at this shot from outside the venue (or if you've scrolled down the page and spoiled the surprise), you might recognise a familiar face. Actually several faces, if you count Baron Nashor's extra mouths. His majesty rises above the congregated League of Legends fan before the Finals kicked off on the last day of the show.

Thankfully, no one in attendance attempted to defeat him, though with the collected might of the cosplayers in this photo, they'd surely make short work of him. We had a ton of amazing cosplayers show up to the Finals. In fact, Nashor feels a little overshadowed in this picture, especially with that incredible giant poro sitting centre stage. More giant poros, please!

Our ever-popular sign making stations made a return in Berlin. Here a young fan is writing a love letter to Faker, probably. Or comparing his hair to broccoli, which is apparently a thing.

Look at you all. Bright eyed and bushy tailed. Ready to watch some world class League of Legends. It was really great to see so many of you pack the Mercedes Benz Arena to the brim. Once everyone was seated, with their Thundersticks out and their wrist-mounted loyalty beacons burning brightly, the venue looked absolutely incredible. As you'll see in the photos below.

The Mercedese Benz Arena is a big space, with seating that surrounds the stage on all sides. Everywhere you look, League of Legends fans sat in not-so-silent anticipation of the final games of Worlds 2015.

The opening ceremony kicked the day's events off with a bang. Hushed excitement filled the auditorium as we all took stock of the journey we've been on together over the month. Keep it together guys, we're almost there...

Even this shot doesn't quite show off the scale of the venue. A truly grand space for an excellent series of games. The two best League of Legends teams in the world fighting it out in style, surrounded by fans.

Once again, with the theatre 'in the round', the two finalists faced each other as they battled, just like in Brussels. The floor of the stage was a giant screen, and selected champions were displayed on it, in addition to all sorts of fun animated elements to make it even more spectacular.

Just off the side of the stage sits the Summoner's Cup. A permanent reminder of what's at stake. As the games played out, we spied players on both teams making some serious side eyes at it. We don't blame them; have you seen the way it sparkles in the light?

And there was a lot of light to spare in the venue. Here's SKTelecom raising the cup aloft after they won, while the myriad spotlights, lamps and fireworks all danced in deLIGHTED celebration.
