Champion select lcs

I believe alot of it has to do with how well the champion fits into the team comp, and a very team based teamfighting meta. Yes akali can dominate a midlane but because she isnt the strongest of drawn out teamfighters she doesnt get picked up. Hence the Lissandra's and the LeBlanc's etc.

If you are talking about NA Specifically they don't do anything out of the same old same old until they see Korea do something out of the box, than they leach onto it and pray it works for them. Sad thing is when Korea does it they have already found counters to what THEY already invented, as NA teams think they are ahead of the curve Korea and other regions have passed them already as if they are on another patch. NA create you own META and have other regions react to you for once I KNOW I KNOW asking for too much but 6 years is long enough with nothing to show for it. EU 1 worlds Korea 3 worlds Taiwan won worlds. NA 0. Catch up NA .... Catch up.

Would like to counter point here. Yes the usual champions do fit very well into traditional team comps for opening easy picks. Akali for example is horrible cause as a jg I normally carry a pink ward to destroy her in a gank. But aside from mid lane that normally gives you more free range for champ picks it's the other lanes I would like to see more diversity in. I know team iMt will show me that soon now I hope.
