What region will dominate the Rift during our ultimate regional showdown at the 2017 Mid-Season Invitational in Brazil? We’ve set aside a limited number of tickets for international players wanting to join us in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

These tickets are reserved for non-Brazilians only. In accordance with local regulations, international passports are required for purchasing and picking up MSI 2017 tickets. Here’s everything you need to purchase international tickets:

International Tickets

When do they go on sale?

International tickets for MSI 2017 will go on sale on March 27 at 9:00 AM PT until April 3 at 9:00 AM PT on EventBrite.

How much will tickets be?

For Play-In Stage at the CBLOL Studio in São Paulo, tickets will be available for R$80.

For the Group Stage and Knockout Stage in Rio, tickets will be available at:

  • R$80 for the Group Stage on May 10-14
  • R$100 for the Knockout Stage May 19-20
  • R$140 for Finals on May 21

The ticket site is available in English and prices are listed in BRL. If you’re purchasing from a non-English language region, we recommend using your browser’s translation feature for purchasing.

What about the price after taxes and fees?

Fees vary based on the individual buyer since you might need to pay taxes based on your location.

What information is required to buy tickets?

In accordance with local regulations, foreign tickets buyers will be required to supply their name, email, billing address, credit card information, nationality, and passport number to purchase tickets.

Do I need an account to buy tickets?

Yes, EventBrite requires an account to purchase tickets. To save time, we recommend that you sign-up and create an account before ticket sales go live.

When should I buy them?

Due to limited quantities and to allow time for international players to get a visa for Brazil and make travel plans, we recommend purchasing your MSI tickets on March 27.

How many tickets can I buy?

There is a max limit of 4 tickets per transaction.

Where is MSI 2017 taking place?

  • Play-In: CBLOL Studio in São Paulo
  • Groups and Knockout: Jeunesse Arena (formerly Rio Olympic Arena) in Rio de Janeiro

What language with the games be shoutcasted in? Will there be translation radios available?

Due to the local popularity of this event, we expect that the overwhelming majority of fans will be from Brazil. As a result, translation radios to hear alternate-language commentary will not be provided. Live commentary at the event will be in Brazilian Portuguese.

Any age restrictions for attending MSI 2017?

If you’re under the age of 14 years old, you will be required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian is required to have a valid ticket for access.

When do doors open?

  • Play-In: Doors at 1:00 PM local time
  • Groups and Knockout: Doors at 12:00 PM local time

What else do I need to know for attending?

Please be aware that you cannot bring your own food and drink or professional photography / filming equipment into the MSI 2017 venues.

I have no idea why they are hosting in Brazil when the crime rate is sky-rocketing in that country. Honestly, I wouldn't go there unless you want to experience a violent crime

Well seeing as its in brazil I would tell all International Players to be safe while they are there! We know what happened to Olympic Athletes, so who knows what could happen to simple LOL players xD

I logged in to write a sarcastic comment about Brazil, then I realized a ton of my favorite eThletes would be there. I just read up on recent crime rates there and now I'm just concerned. Are teams that attend getting a security detail? Or just staying on the nice side of town?

No one wants to go to brazil..... I wouldnt be surprised if the ticket sales suck for MSI this year. Id rather go all the way to china tbh lol (MSI was in china last year)

Worlds 2017 is heading to China including Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Shanghai from September 23 - October 29. At the Finals on November 4, we’ll be crowning our new World Champions from the Beijing National Stadium aka the Bird’s Nest. Starting this year, all 13 professional LoL Leagues will participate at MSI and Worlds.
