MATCH RULES

Play Modes

Best of One • The higher ranked or higher seeded team decides if they want 1st ban & pick in the match or whether they would like too host.

Best of Three • The higher ranked or higher seeded team decides if they want 1st ban & pick in the 1st round of a match or not. In the 2nd round the lower seeded team decides. In the case of a 1:1 after the 1st two rounds the team with the faster winning time decides if they want to have 1st ban & pick in the 3rd round or host.

Game preparations • Please resolve any problems that might occur before a match starts. Connection or Hardware Problems during a match could lead into a disqualification by HeXp tournament admins. Agreements between the teams/players have to be posted as match comments. Make sure the match is played with the right settings, e.g.

Draft Mode and Map • Make sure all players are eligible to play. In team games have all players of a team to be in the team. The usage of a team foreign player can lead into (a) warning. (b) disqualification. HeXp Support Staff will make the judgement call.

Game Account / Summoner Name • All HeXp League of Legends players need to have entered their most recent Summoner Name of the server the tournament is played on. A wrong, missing or outdated Summoner Name can lead to, depending on the case, a warning or forfeture of the match. A simple case of wrong, missing or outdated Summoner Name does not lead into a disqualification, but the player has to update as soon it's known his Summoner Name is wrong, missing or outdated. A HeXp tournament admin will take further actions if there is a ringer suspicion.

Choosing the Host • Please always use the provided Tournament Code to create a match. • In the case you have to play without the Tournament code, and you are to host the match, please send the game name and the password to your opponents, use the match comments or the match chat to get in contact. If a decision is needed, the lower ranked team can decide which side they want in a match.

Champion Bans • Each team can ban champions from the match, please check the tournament info for specific details. It's forbidden to play with a banned champion.

Champion Picks • Each team picks the champions before the match starts, please check the tournament info for any details.

Playing with not picked champion • If a team starts with a not picked champion, the game has to be re hosted. It's not allowed to change any during the two matches for the new match, only the wrong champion has to be changed. ONE redo is allowed, if for any reason the match has to be redone for a SECOND time contact a staff member and they must be present for start of match or other decision.

Player Change • To change a player after the start of bans and picks is only allowed if both teams agree to.

Lineup • Please enter a lineup for each match. (Only in 3 v 3 and 5 v 5 games needed)

Ingame

Number of players • Matches should be played as example in 5 v 5 with 5 players, if a side is missing a player the match can be played, 4 v 5 or 4 v 4, but only if both teams agree to. If teams cannot agree then match must be counted as a DQ. TEAMS use the Summoners Code, dont cheat your way out of a win!

Player drops • After the disconnect of a player the game will continue, if a match is not played with the Tournament Draft Mode. He has to return as soon as possible back to the game and continue playing.

Pause Rule • In matches played with the Tournament Draft Mode is it forbidden to use the pause without an obvious reason like a player disconnect. • In the case a player disconnects, is it allowed to use the pause after a short warning in all chat. • In all other cases have both teams to agree to a pause of the game in all chat. • To unpause a game is only allowed if both teams agree to in all chat. • Abuse of the pause can lead into a disqualification. Screenshots of proofs of the abuse have to be taken and uploaded into the match.

Regame • Teams can agree to a regame, if they think it's needed to play a fair and balanced match or to solve technical problems.

Regame Rules • A regame has to be played with the same picks and bans. • In the case it's impossible for a player to join a started match, because of a bug which makes it impossible to connect to a match after bans & picks, has a regame to be made if a match not older then 1 minute. A screenshot as proof of a the bug has to be upload to the match.

Abortion of a match • If a team destroyed the nexus of its opponent or they surrendered, the match is over.

Illegal Actions • Any actions that result in an unfair advantage are illegal. This includes bug using of any kind.

Spectators • Spectators are allowed only if both teams agree. Exception to this rules are HeXp tournament staff and people that are explicitly allowed to spectate by a tournament admin (e.g. shoutcasters or streamer). It can't be refused to invite an offical HeXp caster if a HeXp tournament admin asks you for an invite. • Teams should only allow spectators they trust. It is not allowed to protest after a match to complain about spectators that were allowed in the game.

Casting • Casting an HeXp match is only allowed with an HeXp admin agreement. To get an agreement please write a Support ticket.

Personal Streaming • Personal Streaming is always allowed if HeXp is not casting a match. If HeXp is casting a match personal streaming is not allowed without an admin agreement. Personal Streaming of a match shown by HeXp, without a permission from am HeXp admin, can lead into a disqualification of the team or ban of the streaming player, in the tournament.
