So, apparently Asian teams are just that much better than everyone else... NA and EU just can't compete with them, NA has never won a world championship... Are Americans just lazy? I don't see how that makes any sense, when these guys literally are locked in houses, they have schedules and coaches out the wazoo, I think it's just time to admit the Asian stereotype is real...
There's a lot of things that goes into this. if you watch the worlds carefully, you will notice that American teams really didn't do THAT bad. we made huge improvements in the past year. we are playing on par with the chinese teams. if you look at the individual players, I dont think i have seen anyone's strat-calling that's as impressive as hai's. koreans had a head start in competitive moba games compares to the rest of the world. But we are really not that far behind them.
Its time to copy OGN format and add it to LCS so the teams will get good at playing B03's and B05's.

I think a lot of it is just mindset and cultural differences.
In America it's "cool" to go to parties, get drunk, hang out with your buddies and screw around. In America it's not cool to lock yourself away hermit-style and play video games. We also don't live in close quarters, and gaming with friends is more of an internet activity than a personal meet-and-greet activity.
Our culture does not promote gaming, and therefore we have a smaller pool of talent to draw from. Imagine if in high school instead of playing baseball and football, our athletes went home and played video games.
And yes, there is a correlation between athleticism and gaming ability. It takes a certain mindset and a particular IQ to be a professional athlete.
The difference is that koreans dont do anything except eat, sleep and play whereas NA player still take time off to go have fun and stuff.
