Dude, the problem is that numeric values are completely off, and that give the result of having NA who was the worst major region in that time span considered to get the third highest score which make no sense
In UEFA ranking, you got a fixed amount of points for being qualified to group stage and the same for everybody (so that who gets in group stage through qualifier do not get more points of who is automatically qualified to group stage) and the bonus for getting to knockout phase of Champions League is double the amount of points you get for a signle win in group (4 point for getting to ro16 of Champions League compared to the 2 points you get for win), also winning a match has the same points value at any stage (of course winning more rounds net you more points)
Assuming you get a fixed amount of 2 points as bonus for qualifying to group stage (with 2 play-in rounds in new Worlds formula it should be perfect as the teams that get through play-in should have gotten 2 points anyway), and you get a 2 points bonus for qualifying to knockout stage , and you give the value of 1 point/win at any stage, let's make a calculation for 2016 Worlds as example
EU: 3 points (G2) + 3 points (Splyce) + 12 points (H2K) / 3 = 6
NA: 5 points (CLG) + 5 points ( TSM) + 7 points (C9) /3 = 5.6666666
Which is a more accurate reflection of the perfromance between the two regions at 2016 Worlds (EU narrowly beating NA thanks to H2K performance
Another example, 2015 Worlds
EU: 12 points (FNC) + 12 points (Origen) + 4 points (H2k) /3 = 9.333333
NA: 4 points (CLG) + 5 points (C9) + 3 points (TSM) /3 =4
And tbh, there is a strong argument for giving a bonus of 2 points rather than 1 for each turn passed in Knockout stage in LOL, given the lack of ro16 (Champions League)/ ro32 + ro16 (Europa league) in LOL tournaments, additional rounds which in UEFA system help rewarding more the teams that advance further (in the above calculations it would give a result of 6.33333 to EU in 2016 Worlds and 10 to EU in 2015 Worlds)
