University Turns To E-Sports For New Scholarship Opportunities

I was coming home from work the other day and I just happened to be listening to NPR (one of my favorite stations) talking about Universities offering scholarships EQUIVALENT TO FOOTBALL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PLAYING LEAGUE OF LEGENDS. I'd love to say this is simply the beginning, I truly hope it is.

This isn't anything new. Robert Morris came out with this back in July. I even thought about trying to get in. But I didn't feel like going through the trouble of transferring.

I am on another college team and we played against one of their 6 teams in IvyLoL. They were okay for being paid to play unlike other colleges who haven't done this yet.
