Okay so I just turned 18 like a few months ago and I have my own money and house as of a few weeks ago. Sooooo, coincidentally Worlds is entirely in the US this year. "Hey that's cool I can go to Worlds with a few of my friends." Yea I didn't know people would just sit there and buy the tickets in bulk and then sell them for 6-7+ times the amount they were originally priced at. Are you fucking kidding me? I can't afford tickets that cost 400$. I know this is probably well known to most others in the community but this is still not cool. It's fucking garbage. I wish Riot could do something. I'm not sure what, but if they could I think they should. :|

This is a problem for everything with a ticket sale. It is a problem much larger than what Riot can handle. I tried to go to Pax once. The tickets sold out in less than 10 minutes of becoming available. Since I was at work I got completely screwed out of going.

As long as people continue to buy the tickets at absurd prices the unethical practice of scalping and resale will continue.

Well as a company they won't do shit. But if they're truly listening to fans, they would help right? After all it's nearing about 1000 tickets scalped! But Riot won't care, they got their money as a fucking company.

Theoretically, they could always "register" the tickets to actual people with ID's (to prevent people from buying them in mass bulk/scalping). After reading an article on the whole subject though, doing so would be a massive negative to them as scalpers help to not only make events seem more important (by having tickets sellout unnaturally faster) but also allow them to adjust prices on said tickets to make more profit off future sales (if the scalpers sell a $50 ticket for $400, they could theoretically charge $75-100 for future tickets and make more money off it).

My Idea would have been this.. Don't tell anyone about having to be logged in to league to buy.. THEN if tickets go on sale Aug 10th at 10AM, at 12:01AM Aug 10th disable all abilities to create a league account.. Then at 10AM make it a mandatory thing to be logged into your league of legends account in order to purchase tickets.. That would prevent scalpers from being able to purchase the tickets.. because a) They cant create an account b) they have to have an account to buy tickets :)

I think They should give us the opportunitty to buy some tickets before the AXS system begin the wave of september at least for all of us that we are begging for these at the forums.

Pls I only need 3 tickets :/ And I did not see any participation of the Rioter's here!! Help us or at least give us a solution :/ I mean, me and my friends are from another country and we already have our flight tickets for the finals :/ but we were not able to get any ticket for the event.
