Looking for People Help Host an Esports News Podcast
Hello everyone! I'm looking to start a daily esports news podcast focusing on the news of the day. I'm hoping that I can get some people who are willing to help add to the discussion to help cover some of the weaknesses of other people, for example, if we are talking about the trade between TSM and the C9 for the NA LCS. Someone who majorly focuses on Overwatch wouldn't have the expertise to understand the full extent of how the players play and how they are expected to mesh with the new teams. I'm hoping to have a panel of 3 to 5 (including myself) people available to help break down the news for everyone.
As the podcast grows my goals for it are that we can bring on guests, like casters from the OWL or Analysts from League of Legends, of course, these are just another way I'm hoping to bring in people from publishers and organizations to be guests on the show. If its possible, as we grow to have podcasts dedicated to Overwatch, League, etc., I would happily help put those together but for right now I'm hoping to do a more general news in the esports field.
Of course the topic of money comes up when we talk about things were potential sponsors could jump in, as of right now I'm not looking to monetize the podcast, and I'm willing to pay to keep everything live myself for now (I'm never going to ask you to pay for anything lol), no worries! I'd rather that be a discussion for later.
My request is that you're above the age of 18, though that does not mean I'm not willing to talk to someone below 18. For a podcast like this having an open mind and lots of curiosity about what is going on in the world of esports. The podcast would be filmed at night time, probably around 9P.M./21:00 CST unless an interview needs another time in which I would try and make sure everyone has a heads up. The goal of the podcast is to be a morning podcast people can listen to catch up on the news of yesterday. As long as you have a decent mic I'm pretty sure I can make the rest work, webcam is recommended but we can work around it.
