Why the silence ?

Every Other post on the boards right now are about gameplay issues and how the game is now a lot less fun than before due to horrible balance changes over the course of the last 2-3 seasons. But Riot has been dead quiet. I never see Red comments under any of those discussions. Even though their authors bring forward very valid points in very polite and none inflammatory ways.

Why the silence? I see you response to art threads and the like why are you avoiding the gameplay posts Riot ? People just want answers even if the answer is “We aren’t planning any changes for the time being”.

I feel like people want you to acknowledge these posts. Ignoring them kind of proves their point. “That Riot doesn’t care about their game. They just care about money” which I know is false.

So please Riot please make a public post addressing these Gameplay discussions . Letting us know that you’ve read the feedback. And if you can’t make changes at least explain to us why you can’t or aren’t planning to.

League is a game that’s very dear to a lot of people. And those people are upset. Please say something instead of maintaining your silence. it’ll help smooth some things over.

What are they supposed to say? "We acknowledge that you dislike the game's current state, but we will/won't do anything?" If they say that they will, they will get that held against them until the end of time. If they say they won't then they will get torn apart for "not caring about the community"

Radio silence is the better move here.

The issue here is usually that for them to take the time to respond to each thread or even a majority of them, it would take a lot of valuable time from their regular job, time which they probably don't have to spare.

Riot has gone from a small indie game company, to a huge multi million dollar company with hundreds of employees.
