Please Make it Clear(er) How to Level Up Yourself in the Boards

Pretty much everywhere on the Boards (except for making this topic, apparently), it won't let me participate in the LoL forums because I must be Level 7, and yet nowhere does it explicitly say how to level up.

What gives? Why the level minimum, or at least where does it explain how to level up your profile to begin participating in the forums?

Thanks, -kat

It is tied to your in-game level. You have to have an active League of Legends account to post, is basically the idea.

Try it again. Sometimes you have to make a post to get the boards to sync your account level.

Thanks. It wasn't until I visited this Discuss the Boards subforum that I found the Boards Syncing Tool. Before that, nowhere did I see the boards account is linked to the in-game account, and I've been using the boards (just viewing) for a couple of months now, while actively playing in game. Level 42 currently in game, but constantly "Must be at least Level 7 to do this" on the boards.

It turns out I needed the syncing tool all along!
