Funny how people always trash Riot but the times they fight back it's deemed unacceptable.

I'm pretty sure many people might say "They're supposed to be better then this!" but that goes for all of us.

How can you try to take the high road when a group of people has a person do something bad when your group constantly has terrible people in it's mix.

Seems like a double standard. Perhaps we should all not be a bunch of assholes for once and see how the world turns out.

Just a thought.

If he was any other member of the team, it may have been an iffy situation. But he was the one who monitors toxicity in game. He's supposed to be the one to know what is and is not acceptable behavior. Some jobs require you to remain professional outside of your work place, and I believe this to be one of those times. Maybe he didn't deserve to get FIRED, but I can't blame Riot for the decision either. I can't vouch for him one way or the other as a person, but he should NOT have said what he did to the people he said it to.

What is with this self-righteous contrarianism that's taking flight now?

Seriously. The guy said incredibly toxic shit on a company server with a company name not only while being a leader of that company but also while having to represent a company that denounces toxicity.

The hypocrisy isn't acceptable. Period. End of discussion. The man will probably find another job unless for god's sake we hound him to oblivion after this (completely unlikely unless someone has a vendetta) and life will go the fuck on. But what he said was not something excusable for a company trying to represent itself as anti-toxic.

Now stop this nonsense.

anyone who think he deserved to be fired or is happy about it is a sick individual.

This is a textbook case of corporate overreaction. The guy probably should've been reprimanded but fired?...really...please fucking fire Ghostcrawler then and your entire balance and design team because what they have done to Evelynn and Galio is FAR...FAAAR more offensive than what Rico or whatever his name said about the guy. The guy he talked about even TOOK THE HIGH ROAD FFS and less offended than you pahtaks...and he was simply getting his just desserts!

So yeah, you fascists out there need to really take a chill pill here. This was not a case of bullying or sheer hatefulness...it was a just a douchy opinion of someone who made himself 'twitch' famous by acting like a douche....that's all.
