I want to shower the patch notes I love with up vote.

I also want to shame the bad patch notes with the almighty down vote.

The patch notes are posted as part of the Riot site rather than as part of the boards themselves, so we are not able to activate upvotes or downvotes on it.

I know this is a lie, because as a matter of fact we USED TO be able to downvote patch notes. You intentionally REMOVED that feature.

I'm not a Rioter, nor do I have any control over that aspect of the site. I'm a volunteer board moderator with some level of control over the boards themselves. So no, I cannot enable that feature, nor are we responsible for disabling it. That page exists on the Riot site and hooks up to the board profiles, but we can't control things like upvotes/downvotes on it. :(

Notice that you can upvote/downvote the page you linked to, which has a URL that begins https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com, but, when you go to the actual patch note page itself, the URL is https://na.leagueoflegends.com. That means the actual notes are not part of the boards.

Fair but in the same sense, you're able to upvote / downvote articles.
