Queue dodging when team play non-meta champions?

So I've had my fair share with off meta champions in my team, champion such as ryze, salys(for this past 2 patchs) And they tend to do as bad as the champion's winrate. I've came to conclusion that I should dodge any team with non low tier champion while enemy is picking the high tier champions. Is it worth it though? since punishment for queue dodging is -10lp
