Good afternoon,

Our messaging could have been better on this, but it's a legit removal, at least in my opinion.

Yes, we strongly discourage the use of the word "retarded" in a pejorative sense, regardless of who it refers to, but this post is also not acceptable because of the larger context of how it references the champion's sexuality. Any commentary on how someone's lifestyle is tolerated, either by an individual or society at large, will almost always fall under the restrictions against political or social posts.

You can say things like, "I'm really upset that Neeko's sexuality seems to be such a front-and-center part of her character and I wish Riot would find other ways to create backstories." That's fine. We are not, however, going to entertain discussions about how someone's sexuality is "disgusting."

If you have any further questions or would like to discuss it further, please feel free to use the Moderation Discord.

Don't bother. It was Evangele who did this. Pretty biased mod.

That last sentence wasn't necessary though.

I also disagree with this removal. I think it could have been a simple edit to remove one word and been done. More than once has it been said that the moderators should use the edit ability more often than they do.

1st you did use terms they told you not to use. 2nd I agree about neeko. That part of her theme is kinda stupid. And also let's mention how sexist she is when she transforms to male champions. Generally her quotes lack everything other champs have.

I'm just waiting for the day when Riot adds a champion that is more than 1 gender.

Boards gonna be burning brighter than ever

I get that you're annoyed by the fact that she's into women being shoved down our throats so much, but the way you responded in that comment isn't really reasonable based on the words you chose and the tone you expressed from cursive words.

Also I don't understand why you're referring to her as a "gay" champion and then later say that she wants "lesbian love". Gay and Lesbian are two separate terms, used separately for two Male and Female Genders.

I don't personally have an issue with her being lesbian, but like... was there really a point to do it? I mean I feel like if you're going to include sexuality in a game then it should probably serve a purpose. Instead it just comes off as "we have a lizard champ, and btw shes LESBIAN! LGBT REJOICE!!!"
