Connecting to a game is always a gamble

I've had good ping ever since I started League. I got a better Internet now and my ping has gotten better (under 60) but it seems that in the last patches, I can't connect to a game 1/2 of the time. Sometimes, everyone is at 100% and I can't connect. Sometimes, I start getting at 100% and everyone is at 0% as if I am reconnecting. Sometimes, I connect but like 1 minute after everyone. Sometimes, I don't connect. But it seems that my friends can't remake since I am connected but sometimes they can. It is a gamble. I got the 5x20 minutes 3 times now. I am an honour 5 guy and I feel I shouldn't be punished since I don't think my internet is the problem. I am on a mac. Please help me

I recommend you check out Riot Support's Hextech Repair Tool. This handy tool will scan your game files to make sure nothing is corrupted, can check all your connection/firewall/DNS settings, and can force a repatch if needed.

If this doesn't fix the problem, Riot Support has a troubleshooting guide for connection issues on Mac that may help.

If all else fails, you can also send in a support ticket for more direct help. Before you do so though, use the Hextech Repair Tool to gather logs, and attach those logs to the ticket. This will drastically increase the chances they can help, as it will give them all relevant information bout your system and your connection.

P.S. Make sure to test in a custom game, as there is no punishment for leaving a custom game. You don't want to accidentally get a leavebuster while trying to fix the problem.
