Why can't Riot let us know the voice actors like other videogames compagnies?

There's a policy at Riot that keeps them from revealing the VA. If the VA themselves reveal their champs, then that's fine. But some VAs wish to remain anonymous & Riot have to respect their wishes.

Now, why isn't there an official credit list of all the VAs who are fine with being revealed, then I don't know. Honestly, League could use a credit list in general. You know, one of all the people who are working on or have worked on the game.

You know Overwatch? They have a cute little healer named Brigitte. VA has a Twitter. Turned out that on release, Brig was a wee bit too strong. People thought no Bueno. They decided that, of all things, they should go to the VA online to complain. And they were not very nice about their complaints. Not a good impression of the playerbase for the VA.

1 reason is that it's often the voice actor's choice for the sake of privacy.

However, another reason is, in extreme cases, riot are keeping the identity secret to protect the voice actors and their own families. This was done on a voice actor for Teemo.

As stupid as it sounds, there are people crazy enough to threaten other people for voice acting certain champions like Teemo and other champions that are found annoying.

Gangplank : Matthew Mercer - He's also the voice of McCree from Overwatch, Ira from Kingdom Hearts III & Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 6 Galio : Josh Petersdorf - He's also the voice of Roadhog from Overwatch . Jhin : Quinton Flynn - He's also the voice of _Axel/Lea from Kingdom Hearts, Raiden from Metal Gear Solid & Reno from Final Fantasy VII (Crisis Core & Advent Children) _.

Swain was voiced by James Faulkner a.k.a Randyll Tarly in Game of Thrones !

I can't believe God-King Garen isn't Jamieson Price. Mick Laurer did a really good interpretation! And the echo filter probably helps.
