Why can't Riot let us know the voice actors like other videogames compagnies?

There's a policy at Riot that keeps them from revealing the VA. If the VA themselves reveal their champs, then that's fine. But some VAs wish to remain anonymous & Riot have to respect their wishes.

Now, why isn't there an official credit list of all the VAs who are fine with being revealed, then I don't know. Honestly, League could use a credit list in general. You know, one of all the people who are working on or have worked on the game.

You know Overwatch? They have a cute little healer named Brigitte. VA has a Twitter. Turned out that on release, Brig was a wee bit too strong. People thought no Bueno. They decided that, of all things, they should go to the VA online to complain. And they were not very nice about their complaints. Not a good impression of the playerbase for the VA.

I hate the internet. I see this shit time & time again. Fuckers out there go harass or even threaten people for their involvement with various piece of media, even if the people they're harassing have no control over the crap that's being complained about. It even goes so far as to threaten their families.

1 reason is that it's often the voice actor's choice for the sake of privacy.

However, another reason is, in extreme cases, riot are keeping the identity secret to protect the voice actors and their own families. This was done on a voice actor for Teemo.

As stupid as it sounds, there are people crazy enough to threaten other people for voice acting certain champions like Teemo and other champions that are found annoying.

Wow! Withheld is such an awesome voice actor. Can do male AND female voices! Complete vocal chameleon, that one. Person of 1000 voices, each one unique!

I know 3 of them off the top of my head. Gangplank : Matthew Mercer - He's also the voice of McCree from Overwatch, Ira from Kingdom Hearts III & Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 6 Galio : Josh Petersdorf - He's also the voice of Roadhog from Overwatch . Jhin : Quinton Flynn - He's also the voice of _Axel/Lea from Kingdom Hearts, Raiden from Metal Gear Solid & Reno from Final Fantasy VII (Crisis Core & Advent Children) _.

Ira was also in Kingdom Hearts Union X/Back Cover, but I don't know if he's voiced by the same person in all 3. I don't even think he talks in Union X, though. Its a mobile game so there's not much voice work.

I didn't know that about GP, though. Neat.

Yasuo is Liam O'Brien, whom i know from the game Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (3rd game), as well as voicing a villain in one of the more recent Sonic the Hedgehog games and several characters in anime, tv, and other video games (primarily Final Fantasy i believe), and has over 450 acting credits on IMDb, which is rather impressive not gonna lie.

Kayn was voiced by Robbie Daymond, who's in a bunch of games and some TV shows. Rhaast, on the other hand, was voiced by Sam A. Mowry, who is almost solely a voice actor for video games, as well as sometimes showing up on TV shows as an announcer/radio style voice (no images of him on IMDb)

Camille now this one's a fun one. Emily O'Brien (I don't think she's related in any way to Liam O'Brien, aka Yasuo's VA). She played Gamora in the marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy and has 42 other acting/voice acting credits on top of that according to IMDb. Honestly one of my favorite VAs in the game when it comes to their performance of the character.
