Opening a discussion, whether with board moderators, a supervisor, your parents, a friend, or anyone else, does not mean that people will agree with you or capitulate - because it doesn't necessarily mean you were right and they were wrong.
I've went to the discord twice I think. Once I was pretty much attacked from the 3rd message or so when I wasn't even disputing the action taken. The second time was relatively fine. There are both good mods and bad mods, you can't just lump them all in together.
