Ways to filter "Hot" section

It would be very convenient if there was a way I could add filters to what it shows in the "hot" section when signed into my account. Examples would be filtering out all messages from a certain board, or filter out a certain user, or filter out any titles with a certain word ect. Not even sure it would be possible, but would be a nice feature.

While a built-in feature would be a lot more convenient, you can at least do this with a browser plug-in called Forum Enhancement Kit. It is completely safe, and is pinned to the top of the general discussion section.

It let's you control which sub-boards you see, let's you blacklist users, set custom avatars, and more. It is quite a helpful tool, definitely worth checking out.
