When you say a thread "only invites forbidden replies"

But there are several replies and none of them are of the "forbidden" type, is that really a good justification for outright deleting a lament (on GD) about being ghosted because it falls into the "Religion, Sex, Politics, [or] any social issues, though some exceptions may be appropriate" category? Note that posts calling people trash are considered acceptable by Boards mods, and video posts in M&G (there's a specific rule against it) are also considered acceptable by Boards mods.

I think Boards mods need better training and tools to ensure consistency and avoid bias. This would help posters figure out in a logical, deterministic manner what kind of posts are and are not acceptable and make Boards a better place for everyone.

No they're not. Report them.

Also, your thread was titled "I'm so good at languages I'm learning to speak Woman." That's inherently a sexist joke at best, and removable on its own merits. The fact that it invited same sort of inappropriate joke seems decidedly secondary.

Yes they are. I do report them, and get told that (verbatim quote here) "It's still kinda rude, but I don't feel like it needs to be removed." It seems like you disagree. This is why I said that mods need better training and tools for consistency.

I'm going to assume this was on Discord. I'll take a look. Calling other players trash is not acceptable.

In this case I agree that the reason could have been better explained, yes.

In this particular case I saw that the moderator in question told you he'd get a second opinion and asked for one, but no one had been around to weigh in. I took a look, agreed with your assessment that the comment was a problem, and both personally removed it about 35 minutes ago and alerted the moderator to the fact that the comment was indeed removal-worthy for future reference.

When I say I'll look into something, I do mean it. I don't always decide on the same action that the person requesting my attention would like, but I do see it through.

We do that sort of thing fairly often, but it's impossible to give someone a rundown on every single minor insult and edge-case-scenario, and it's impossible to get everyone 100% on the same page. That's part of why this board exists.
