The level of hypocrisy on the boards is unremarkable

And frankly it is irritating the living hell out of me.

One moment you have people complaining that ADCs are the only viable botlane carry. The next you have people complaining about AD casters and assassins being toxic midlane and that their mages are being forced out (P.S. they aren't, they still dominate the lane).

Similar things happened when mages dominated toplane, when ranged ADs dominated the jungle, and when mage supports dominated botlane.

You present these people with cold hard facts, and then they just deny them and rile up the mob to spite you into the next dimension.

"A HURR ZED JUST HITS R AND WINS LANE+GAME" -10 upvotes

"No actually he has a 49% WR, far below popular mages like syndra, orianna, ahri, etc., as well as his ult only doing a small base damage relying on you to hit other skillshots" -10 downvotes

"wut teh fuck is a WR u assassin-loving filth, my dad works at rito ill hav u hung" -1337 upvotes

The amount of fact-averse people on the boards is astounding. You can explain to them why a certain champion is meta, provide hard evidence, and they just shrug it off and demand the champion be nerfed to the ground.

A good example of this is in the lethality ADC meta when it was mostly jhin and varus. You could explain to people that the lethality items synergized too well with their kits and provide them with a chart comparing the champ stats to the patch that lethality got buffed before and after, but they don't care. They want instant satisfaction even if it costs a champion their identity.

Just stop, please.

Most of these people are 12 year olds...and if not...are 12 year old minded so, sorry, they will not stop. Another thing though...Riot is notorious for having destroyed the most balanced period of this game which was S5 Cinderhulk. Most everyone loved playing their champs and so many more were viable than the usual case. This was the only time I actually enjoyed playing SR...and it took a few updates and crybabies about game length to completely destroy what was close to becoming the StarCraft Brood War of e-sports....a game that was both fun to play and entertaining to watch.

Now...its pretty much neither. People loathe playing rank and only do so to feed their over ambitious competitive natures or their toxicity...YES...people actually play this game to feed their toxicity...and everyone can tell who those people are. The ELO system is the most laughable thing in existence for a team based game as well as the fact in that it is impossible to truly gauge a player's ability to win matches when it is setup to have them fail if they get past 50% win rate. Others abuse it and dodge, afk, etc...knowing their success hinges on matches entered and simply being lucky enough to roll decent teammates with no boosted players at the higher ranks. If they don't think they can win they afk knowing they are at least bringing down 4 other competitors with them. There's no real need to collaborate with teammates unless you're part of an actual ranked team.

They've ruined the fun modes with the terrible terrible damage making taking objectives unfun and simply a result of the loosing team's failure as opposed to the winning team's good luck/strategy/skill.

I played this game when it first came out...quit because of all the toxic idiots...came back during S3 and this and last season are the least I've played this game. The fun simply got sucked out in favor of a grind faster model (aka WoW).

Funny that Ghostcrawler helped ruin TWO games...and I have no qualms about pointing the finger his direction because he has hideous judgement when it comes to fun vs. balance vs. fun and balanced. I know...I played a Paladin in WoW for 3 years.

every one is bias to what they like and dont like

people cry its a tank meta but an adc meta and supports are broken

if you ask 100 different people what they think is wrong or right with this game you will get at least 70 different answers

The people who are complaining are the people effected by whatever is "wrong" while the people in favor of whatever is "wrong" don't speak up because they are happy.

Tbh the boards hate ANYTHING thats meta.

they wont be happy till full AP poppy is popular

( then they will bitch about that being to strong )
