I mean U post your opinion on a champ and back it up if it isn't generally correct get 100 downvotes and flame. Post others opinions and you get 100 upvotes and the agreed treatment

The boards is a reddit format. That's exactly what it to encourages users to do.

Yes, I would expect that people posting things that are not correct would get downvoted. Especially if they are generally not correct.
Is it possible that maybe, just maybe...people didn't like your idea? That doesn't make you stupid or worthless, it doesn't mean you're not capable of good ideas, it just means that people don't agree with you. That's OK, and is going to continue happening in all sorts of situations for the rest of your life.
