As a season 3 Alistar main, I'm a little bit apprehensive. If he won't be as mana intensive and be tankier, I feel like this would give him a good excuse to build the buffed Ardent Censer (which works amazingly with his kit.)
With his sustain getting buffed due to the mana cost drops, do you think we'll see more of Alistar? I personally think he has a great kit for a support and in the hands of a skilled player can be very scary.

It's pretty clear that they're actively preventing Jungle Cow from being a thing ever again. His kit isn't bad at all, but Thresh and the like will still get picked over him.

LastProtagonist1 votesDon't get me wrong, I still think champs like Thresh and Braum will be picked over Alistar; I just think Alistar's strength and viability has gone up more now. Mana control was a big thing as Alistar support, and with buffs on 3 of those costs...I could see him pulling off a lot more harass and sustain.
I actually didn't realize his ult didn't go into effect until after the animation finished. This will make his flash initiations even more potent than before.

The buff on his ultimate made him more broken than he ever was. You can stand-up fight trundles ultimate now ffs. I LOVE IT!
