@Riot, Vel'Koz Quality of Life change

I was wondering if it would be possible to make Vel'Koz ult give vision of where it is shooting, kinda like Viktor laser or Lux ult. I always found it odd that his ult never gave him vision of where it is shooting, since it is a pretty bright ray of light. Also, I always found it kinda annoying when someone would flash or duck into bushes or Fog of War and I would have to guess where they are going and possibly waste my ult since I can't see them. And it's not like it has a low cooldown like Lux ult. So may I ask to give my favorite Void champion a little love?

Just fyi, your proposed change is a buff not QoL. QoL would be something like adding a counter to diana's passive to show how many hits till she gets bonus damage. This doesn't affect actual gameplay but just makes the champion easier to understand.

That said it does seem weird that a giant lazer wouldnt illuminate the area right around it

I see it as a QoL buff. Yes, granting vision around the attack area is advantageous, but it's not likely to be a game-changing boon, and the amount of time you have to 'correct' your aim is pretty minimal too. Odds are, it'll only even come into play once every 5-10 games anyways. It's not like Lux's ultimate which is significantly longer than her normal vision radius to begin with. This mostly will come into play with bushes, or the occasional enemy moving around a corner into the jungle, both instances where you can often predict their movement enough to damage them for another tick anyways. This just lets you know.

Yeah, I completely agree. The turn rate on his ult is slow, so you really don't have too much time to adjust your aim within the 2.5 second channel time anyway. I honestly don't think a change like this will affect gameplay on a significant level at all. It's just nice for Vel'Koz players to actually have that confirmation to know they're hitting something.
