Braum is a really unique champions but the numbers are soo bad. He is supposed to be a tank/support i get that, but what is a tank/support without initiation?( mundo has massive tankiness unrivaled by all.Malphite Nautilus Nasus Sejuani Trundle Volibear MonkeyKing Shyvana Shen Maokai Leona Garen Hecarim Darius Aatrox Blitzcrank Amumu Elise Jax JarvanIV Draven

Passive ~ Cool concept at all but really? 4 hits for a stun that last for 1.5 secs and has a 10 second cd? I AM LOOKING AT YOU UDYR Udyr CHOOSE 1

  1. lower cd to 6 seconds(respective to udyr)

  2. increase stun to 2.15 seconds(atleast 2)

  3. Hybrid, cd 6 secs and stun 1.75?

Q ~ This skill DEFINATELY needs a rework. CHOOSE 1

  1. either change its scaling and cooldown

  2. buff the hell out of the slow duration aka like 4 seconds.

  3. make it go through enemies

W ~ Also needs a touch. The problem is only an utility skill, and a pretty bad one at that. Give ONE person extra armor and magic resist.. for 3 seconds... SERIOUSLY, 3 SECONDS? CHOOSE 1

  1. extend the duration tremendously, around maybe 10 seconds or atleast 6. Increase cd to compensate.

  2. Allow it to be used to initiate aka to jump to an enemy. Debuff an enemy (chill) reducing their armor and mr?

  3. Passive armor/magic resist %.

E ~ This skill is okay. Maybe extend the duration to at least 1 more second please.

R ~ This skill is beautiful BUT IT SUCKS, the scaling is horrible, the knock up is horrible. It needs a touch, a huge touch. BASE Damage is Horrible. CHOOSE 1

  1. Allow knock back to affect all enemies hit (full duration). 100% AP scaling. Increase base damage.

  2. Change to RAM - Braum charges in a line pushing enemies aside and slowing them. At the end of the charge braum summons ice spikes to knock up enemies around him.

Thank you.

Have you actually tried Braum out? Sure, he's not going to be doing gobs of damage, but that's not his job.

His passive is extremely powerful. A 1.5 second stun is lethal in lane, and most ADCs can finish proccing it without much difficulty. If you get marked by Braum, you pretty much get zoned for five seconds. It also does a pretty sizable chunk of damage. The comparison with Udyr is flawed because Udyr has to be in melee range to use his stun. Thanks to Braum's Q, he doesn't need to expose himself. If Braum's Q were on a much lower cooldown, or could pass through minions, he would be a nightmare to lane against. Compare the skill to Kennen Q. Kennen's an incredible zoner, and Braum is much the same.

Braum isn't intended to be an initiator. As Riot said in his reveal, he's not like Leona. He doesn't dive into the enemy team because his proper positioning is between the two teams. He's a protector, and I can say from my testing of him on PBE that he really does fulfill that fantasy. Your proposed changes to his W or R would damage that identity, and distract from the centerpiece of his kit, which is his E.

Braum defends people from ranged skills with his E, and uses his passive and R to punish divers. That's why his ult has the major knockup on only the first person hit, and why it also works in a small AOE around him. It's not supposed to be an initiation tool; it's for peel (and, I suppose, picks). The damage isn't high, but it's comparable to similar skills. Sure, Leona and Sejuani have 0.8 AP ratios rather than 0.6, but honestly, it could be 1.6 AP without boosting his damage.

Read over the vision of Braum lays out in his reveal. His kit as it currently functions is exactly what they intended him to be. If the numbers prove to be too low for him to be viable, then they can boost those. But that goes for any well-made champion.
