Lucian and Jinx are relatively new champions but they have seen a lot of play both competitively and casual. How long does it take for new champions to get 2nd and 3rd skins? I know Aatrox has no other skins, and Elise's only non-limited skin is Death Blossom (is that the right name? I've played some Elise but I don't spam her). There are several examples of this but what about new champions that have huge play rates?
I feel like they like to use new skins to boost a lesser used champions popularity, like with Rumbles new skin which is pretty dope and makes me feel a greater incentive to try him out. On top of that, there are also champions that desperately need new models or reworks to make them more relevant the the current game like Taric or Sion. We'll see what they do. Riot has a massive backlog of content they intend to release.
I doubt we'll see either until the championship/next season. They're both too new and their current skins are both really popular.
