What's going on Riot?

Hey riot, I love all the work you guys do and thank you for putting so much effort, time and thought into the game. Lately though, it's been difficult not to notice the increase in time between champion releases. I'm not necessarily saying its a bad thing, because I'm sure there's a very good reason on why, but I'm just curious, if there are separate teams at Riot designated towards working and reaching different goals through out different aspects of the game, why are we receiving less champions per year/season? With Braum released over 2 months ago, how long till we see another champion? And with the last top-laner being Aatrox, what can we expect from the next one?

Again, this is in no way a complaint, I LOVE the work you guys do and thank you so much.

The several releases they made since the beginning of the game has left several champions with a troubled kit. They're more focused in fixing old champions and making sure they're okay than releasing new chmapions that will need nerfs or buffs soon after.

There are a lot of champions right now that are problematic: Sion, Zilean, Urgot, etc. It's more important to fix them and slowly work on new champions than to rush release a new champion just for the sake of releasing.

There's enough champions, I don't mind waiting really.

My guess is that there's 120 friggin' Champs in the game (I counted), and it's just tougher and tougher to come up with new stuff.

If Riot cared about the Lore, that would make it even harder, but they really don't seem to lately.
