I would love this Taric!

If Taric was like this I would totally main him again.

passive- gem collection every time Taric uses a skill he gains a gem in his collection. Taric can store x number of gems and must spend all gems to use his ult.

Q- emerald same as live

W - diamonds Taric fortifies himself, an ally or ally tower with diamonds giving it extra armor and magic resist. when the buff is finished it explodes damaging surrounding enemies

E- ruby Taric gives himself or an ally a ruby sword making melee auto attacks stronger (do bonus damage). if given to a ranged champion the ally will throw the sword slowing the enemy while doing bonus damage and stunning the enemy if pinned to a wall (the sword can only be thrown once during the next auto attack)

R- wall of gems Taric spends all of the gems in his collection creating a wall equal in length to the number of gems spent. The wall lasts until destroyed by enemies, allies or the next cast of wall of gems. each gem in the wall has its own health and have no amour or magic resist. the wall can be jumped over but not dashed through.

the ult would look cool if it was only made out of the gems used to make it. ie if you only used ruby to make the wall the wall would be make out of rubies

Well. It does sound intresting, but making them scale with mana would make him incredible strong with buffing allies with armor or damage all the time.

Maybe give him a own resource called "gems". let's say his q cost 5 gems, his w 15, his e 20, and his r all of his left gems. Max numbers of gems he can hold is 100. He can't regenerate gems by his own, so he needs to go back to the base to refill the gem bar. Otherwise, give him a item that allows him to refill gems slowly out of base. (maybe something like viktors hexcore?) like the, um support item for tanks? Like, he can execute minions/monsters with it and it refunds 1-5 gems. (This bonus is doubled against canon minions/big monsters)
