Hopefully he won't. Nunu support is absolutely awful. Let him stay in the jungle.

I wouldn't say awful. It's bad mind you, but in a push composition, he is fairly decent.

All I'm saying, is that I absolutely hate having a Nunu support. He's next to useless in lane and I have yet to have a single Nunu support that wasn't just dreadful the entire game through.

That's because none of the Support Items really fit melee AP tanks. It's like they were meant to be phased out. All except Thresh, but he is a different class of his own. I guess Support Nunu, Cho'Gath, or Galio will never see the light of day :'(

I've actually had a few support Galios and they were fantastic. It isn't the itemization, in my opinion it is the champion. Galio functions just fine starting Relic and going into a Sightstone and Chalice purchase (with Chalice going into Mikael's). Then you have boots and build tanky and come late-mid to full late-game Galio support is really really solid.

That's true, I'll give you support Galio. I've tried it a number of times. It was a lot of fun, maybe a 50% win rate with it as well. Except, I go Frost Queen's Claim line. Good early mana sustain and harass since you can't do much else. Level 6 you bait the fight for your ult. Then you go MR and Tanky. It is pretty solid. Nunu though... He just belongs in a team comp, and that's really it.

Not sure I've seen the FQC path on it, but I do think it'd work really well, smart call with that. I won't say that Nunu should never be support, but I will say that you have to be really good as Nunu and have the perfect team composition for him to be a better pick then the other plethora of support options that do a much much better job.

This is true. Pro Nunus really only play him over in Korea with a heavy push or kit comp (Lucian & Ashe respectively). And there are better team comps out there. I mean, you could go Support Galio! I like the PQC pathway because the active slow and damage allows you to chase like a boss. The Q, FQC active, E. It's like they can't do anything!

I think he needs to be played as a jungler, and only paired as a support for a push team. They need to give him a buff for eating the Wight like the rest of the jungler creeps.

I do wish Nunu would get some power back but leave his abilities as they are. He was my first champion when i started playing and always will be one of my favorites. I'm sure he does great as a jungle, but i have played him as support/tank and mid. He does great either way.
