Returning to game after disconnecting via Internet issues locks screen

After the 5.16 patch, I've noticed on my occasional games where my wifi goes crazy and disconnects me from the game an ongoing issue. When in lock screen or out of lock screen and you get disconnected because of your Internet and you reconnect, the game puts you in or out of lock screen for the rest of the game and you can't fix it(depends on whether you were in or out of lock screen at the time you disconnected).
