Client won't leave screen after select

Since we got this new and amazing champ select I have had 5 dodges playing normals. Not because people troll. Literally because it is so bugged that I can not lock in a pick. After that I was forced to dodge. Once the client bugged forcing me to dodge I am assuming I now get an awesome AFK timer! Also we all know how when we get a gift or a message on the screen on the client home page the background goes gray and the message box appears? Yeah well my game went to tell me "You AFK'd have this timer." Now my client is frozen on my screen with that background. It will not exit. I have tried using windows task manager, command prompt, restarting my computer. Yes I restarted my computer and when I logged onto league it was still frozen.
