[Gameplay] Nidalee Q Spear Sometimes Invisible- Notes Inside on How to Recreate

I have seen videos on this and just tried out some testing in a custom game with my husband to see if we could recreate it. This is what we found.

  1. Sometimes Nidalee can see the spear but the enemy cannot. Sometimes the spear is invisible to Nidalee, too.
  2. This is more noticeable in areas where terrain goes up/down, as the spear will disappear under the terrain. Ex: Throwing spear from creek into mid lane. There are spots where the spear will go invisible for the middle part of it's journey, as it goes under the terrain.
  3. We were able to recreate it a lot in creek bushes around mid. If you throw the spear slightly to the left or right, while in the bush, and it happens to go through a wall, it will make the spear invisible on the other side of the wall. This does not happen when thrown directly into the wall in a straight line. This happens on a lot of walls in the map though, where throwing a spear into a wall at a slight left/right angle will make it invisible on the other side. Note it has to probably be at around a 10 degree angle to get it become invisible, any more and it will become visible.
  4. Although I'm not sure if it's a bug, you can have invisible spears by sniping people through thick walls, because they cannot ward the terrain that is a wall and you cannot see spears in walls. Technically, it's fog of war, but you also can't ward the thick walls either. Ex: The wall by outer mid turret. I stood in a bush on the other side, Nidalee was under her turret, and she threw the spear at me and I could just barely see animations because I was looking for them. A little green swirl is all.

I have detailed exactly how to get invisible spears in some situations, although I fear this is not all of them since I have seen them invisible in lanes and we were not able to recreate those. I hope you get this fixed soon, and I hope no one reads this and abuses it until then.

Thanks.
