Kalista ult bug

So, earlier in a game I was playing support Thresh to an ADC Kalista, and while she was mid-fighting I was backing due to low health. I threw out my lantern to offer her some escape, but she insisted on staying. Once I got to fountain I had healed up a large amount of health with my homeguard and baron empowered recall, but suddenly I was dragged back to Kalista who was at top nexus turret. Her ult worked on me from all the way across the map somehow, and I'm not 100% sure why, but it allowed me to heal back up, fly to her, then dominate the fight with my regenerated mana and health. If anything with Kalista needs to be fixed, it's this to prevent any fights from being unfair.
