[CRASH] unable to connect firewall

seems like others are having same problem -- load-in screen blacks out and I keep hitting "retry" with no success. Second time today. First time, when I finally DID manage to load in, the game hadn't started yet (whew!) but I then continued to disconnect several times during the game. It was also incredibly laggy. My internet is fine, have checked connection.
