Ekko ult bug

Ekkos ults hitbox seems to be slightly smaller than what the animation portrays it as. A few times, maybe 1/3 ults, the person will be right near to the time clone and take no damage. Am I the only one experiencing this? Something wrong with my computer/graphical issue? Am I just blind. Just wondering becuase a friend of mine also has the same issue
