Client wont open the actual game

So I had this bug on the PBE and just brushed it off as a PBE issue and it would probably be fixed by the time the patch came to live. Turns out I was wrong lmao. Basically the client runs fine but once I get through champ select and everything the ACTUAL game just won't open. It just automatically pulls up the reconnect screen and no matter how many times I press it, it won't reconnect. logging out and closing the client doesn't help. closing it on task manager doesn't help either. Neither does restart my computer. I even initiated the full repair and that also didn't work. It happens with all game modes

just wondering if anyone else had this bug and if there is a solution to said bug. I just wanna be able to play the game but quite literally am being denied that privilege lmao. Any help is appreciated!

I've been having the same issue all day, haven't found a fix yet and Riot hasn't responded to the bug report thread I made about it either. Happened after I installed patch so im guessing it's something with the new patch and specific computer setups?

Yeah same thing for me Idk what else to do I logged off for a bit and tried again but still cant play

I am also having this problem as well. I get through the champ select and the loading screen never comes but I get a critical crash error window. After I get the reconnect from the client and the same cycle happens. This only started after the 9.21 patch for me as well. I hope we find a fix soon cause I can't play on my desktop.
