Trying to reconnect (after afk for hours) *Ancient bug*

Can we finally get a fix for this? It's been an issue for years.. When you afk in the homepage for a few hours, The client disconnects you (I assume to free up server space) but when you come back it will sit at "Trying to reconnect..." Infinitely until you close the client and restart it. Can we go ahead and fix this already? Thanks!
