Shop Search and Titles

When searching for champions, the search function will also spit out champions with the letters in their 'title'. That is, if you search 'ga', you get Galio, Rengar, Gangplank, Veigar, and so on, but you also get Ezreal, because he's the Prodigal Explorer. Is this intentional? It seems kind of weird and unhelpful.
