Diasy/Shen Bug?

I was playing shen the other day and there was an Ivern on the other team and he brought out daisy. I hit my W to block the autos but it didn't. Since shen is supposed to block basic attacks I would've thought it would block the daisy autos. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it doesn't count considering Daisy is an "ult".
