Recruitment Missions? Reward changed?

SO, I completed the quest with a friend during the great quest bug out of 8.18 and Didn't get my skin shard, and now the quest is changed and turned into 1000 blue essence instead after 4 games instead? I'm very concerned and worried, can I get an answer please? ;_;
