Ekko Q Bug

Recently, in a game of ranked, I played LeBlanc, and land against an Ekko. During one point in the early game, Ekko threw out his Q, and it was invisible. I feel that this could be a gamebreaking bug, as it could cause someone to die, when it was somewhat out of their control.
